About the St. Gallen Symposium

The St. Gallen Symposium is one of the world’s leading platforms for intergenerational dialogue on global economic, political, and social challenges. It takes place every year at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and brings together a diverse group of participants, including CEOs, entrepreneurs, policymakers, academics, and top university students from around the world.

First held in 1969, the symposium is organized entirely by a team of dedicated students. What makes it unique is the equal exchange between young and experienced voices. Participants engage in open conversations, challenge each other’s perspectives, and work together to find new ideas and solutions.

Each year, the event revolves around a central theme that reflects current global issues. Through a mix of panel discussions, keynote speeches, and workshops, the symposium encourages thoughtful debate and meaningful collaboration.

The St. Gallen Symposium is not just a conference. It is a space for dialogue, reflection, and connection across generations and cultures.
